Tina Ragin is the Founder and Principal of TR Consultant, a Certified Minority-Women Owned Talent Consulting and Career Advisory boutique. She successfully provides strategic, comprehensive talent consulting along with thought-leadership in recruitment, and professional development. Tina has 20 years of experience in Executive Talent Acquisition and Human Resources with demonstrated success in executing talent strategies and HR deliverables supporting business growth goals. Her corporate career includes working for Fortune 500 industry leaders within Finance and Accounting, in addition to Big 4 Management Consulting.

Through The Career Coaching Suite, Tina offers one - on - one, as well as group coaching on a range of career development topics. Some of these include, “Interview Like a Boss – Interview Prep Skills.” “Job Search Strategy: Roadmap to Success,” and “Elevator Pitch: Tell Your Story.” Her coaching approach includes assessing, challenging, and supporting as she utilizes the Transformational GROWTH Model of Coaching and Mentoring along with many others.

As a Certified Career Coach, Tina is passionate about helping others develop and pursue career success with purpose. She partners with clients to help bring clarity, insight, and accountability while navigating their career growth and professional development. About Us: The Lady CPA Network is a non-profit organization aiding in the advancement of African American women in the accounting and finance profession. Our goal is to provide a network and platform for African American women in accounting and finance as a support system and collaborative body of professionals. To offer scholarships, mentorship, internships, entrepreneurial assistance, guidance and opportunities for women who aspire to be in the profession, as well as educational support and continuing education.  To increase the visibility of African American women at the executive and partner level within the accounting  and finance profession.

According to the AICPA women may represent more than 50% of accounting graduates entering the profession for the last 20 years, but makeup only 19% of the partners in accounting firms nationwide.

An analysis conducted of disclosures made by 50 American financial services companies revealed that women occupy only 20% of executive committee roles and 22% of board positions. Only 12% of the chief executive officers of large U.S. financial firms are women.
